There was a time not so long ago when black pepper was seen as an alluring, almost mystical spice. These days it’s only too easy to take such a culinary essential for granted, which is why we felt the time was ripe to salute this magnificent ‘must have’ kitchen ingredient by creating a dark chocolate bar (60% cocoa solids) infused with a generous smattering of ground black pepper.
